 Vintage (Est 1900-1930) Sheffield Made Wade & Butcher Straight Razor

Features Imitation Ivory handles (Celluloid) with Carbon Steel Hollow Ground Blade that measures 3". (2 3/4" Sharpened Edge) . Wade & Butcher was based in Sheffield England; some of their razors bring some extremely high prices.  The width of the blade (from cutting edge to spine of the blade) is about 7/8". Tang is marked "SPECIAL" on one side and "WADE & BUTCHER SHEFFIELD ENGLAND" on the other side, with the Broad Arrow mark. Nickel Silver overlaid bolsters.

Overall length with the blade open is 9 5/8". Handles measures 6 1/4".  Includes a custom zippered pouch.. Very Good to Excellent Piece. Some staining spots of the Carbon Steel Blade. This is a very nice quality made piece. (Handles so closely resemble Ivory that it is hard to tell the difference)..
