Vintage 1980's era "NATO MILITARY"  Front Opener "YOUTH AC88" Switchblade/Front Opener

This model operates by sliding the switch on the top side of the handle  This early model referred to as the "NATO MILITARY" is becoming increasingly sought after, because you rarely see them today as they approaching 40-45 years old! They have all but disappeared and are no longer manufactured. They were very dependable and rarely failed to open. When they do misfire you just pull the blade forward to "reset" the blade.

3 3/8" mirror polished Spear Point Stainless Blade features a decent edge and is stamped "YOUTH AC88" on the tang. Chromed metal bolsters with Green composition (plastic) handles...Has the annoying "twank" sound when the blade is deployed.

Measures 8 1/8" Overall Open..Features decent lock up and action.  Condition is good with some wear/handling marks on the handle. Handles show some slight shrinkage due to age. Mechanism fires reliably. Measures 4 3/4" closed. Great piece for everyday use. Taiwan/China version not the better made Korean made.
