2008 First Production CUSTOM "One of a Kind"  Lone Wolf / AIK  PAUL "Protector" Button Lock Folder (Manual Opening) with Mammoth Molar & Pearl

The Lone Wolf "Protector" Button Lock Folder was released in 2008. Features Beautifully Colored Mammoth Molar Handles with Mother Of Pearl Inlays on both sides. (Stunning Mammoth Molar is the actual fossilized tooth of the extinct Woolly Mammoth.) Molar contrasts beautifully against the Protector's Polished stainless frame.

The Protector features a unique button lock system designed by Paul Poehlmann. The design which is called an "axial locking mechanism" was featured on early "Gerber" brand knives, and most recently on Benchmade after they bought out Lone Wolf. (This is not an automatic!).

The PAUL locks the blade in both the open and closed positions and the silky smooth action allows the user to open and close the piece with one hand (with some practice). Measures 4 1/2" closed. 3 1/2" Blade features premium razor sharp 154-CM stainless. Etched "2008 First Production" on the backside of the blade.
