MIKE Whiskers ALLEN Scale Release Auto with Damascus Bolsters, Hand File Work and Exotic Snakewood Handles

This "Scale Release" Auto was made by Mike Whiskers Allen of Malakoff, Texas. Mike is a superb maker and is a member (retired) of the Knifemaker's Guild who specialty is scale release/bolster release autos. Protech recently released two models based on his Bolster & Scale Release Models.  The "MAGIC" (Bolster Release) & "MAGIC II" (Scale Release).

This Scale Release Auto features unique and exotic "Snakewood Handles" with a 3 1/8" Chad Nichols DAMASCUS Blade with Damascus Bolsters.   Operates via "Scale Release" which to open you slide the bottom of the handles to the side. No button or lever to activate. Totally discreet, coil activated, side opening mechanism. Measures 4" closed.

Beautiful File work on the blade, backspring and 410 stainless liners.  Measures 3 3/4" closed. Measures 7" overall open. Signed on the inside of the backspring "WHISKERS 12-07" (Made in Dec 2007). Beautiful/Mint Piece! Includes a Custom Zippered Storage Pouch..
