Vintage (1902-1946 era) Early Schrade Cutlery Company (Schrade Cut Co) American Double Button Switchblade with Ivory Celluloid Handles and Bolsters!

Largest Double Button Switchblade from Schrade Cut Co this was made in New York from 1902-1946 era. Features "Ivory Celluloid" handles with steel bolsters. Double button design that Schrade is famous for. Measures 3 3/4" closed. Main Spear Point Blade measures 2 1/2".  Small Pen Blade measures 1 3/4". Main Blade seats deep in the handle, small pen blade also seats below the brass liners. Both blades are full and very clean. Blades have nice lockup with little to no blade movement when open.(Main blade is rock solid when open). Safeties work on both blades. 

Knife has superb switchblade action. Note: Pen Blade has typical "bounce back" when opened. Handles are in excellent condition on both sides. Overall=very good +-excellent + condition. . Includes a custom zippered storage pouch. Overall length open (with both blades open) is 8 1/8".

Tang is marked  "SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN,NY" on main blade. Tang of pen Blade is marked "US PATS FEB. 13, 06-FEB. 26, 07- SEPT.13, 10" Superb example for your collection.
