Vintage Early PRESTO American Made "Fishtail" Pattern Switchblade with Red Swirl Celluloid Handles!

 Vintage PRESTO switchblade (referred to as a "Fishtail" Pattern because of the shape of the handle), and made from 1929 to 1956, this one features outstanding Red Swirl Celluloid Handles.  (Blood Red with swirls of black streaks!)  No rivet cracks! Nickel Silver pins!

Tang is marked "PRESTO MADE IN U.S.A.". Back side of tang is marked "G SCHRADE B'PORT, CT" . Tang Stamp is Clean and Clear.  Clip point blade measures 3 1/4". Measures 4" closed. Overall is 7 1/4".

Safety works perfectly. Blade seats deep in the handle. Action is superb and positive. (Blade has excellent lockup with only very minimal up and down movement in the open position. Brass Liners. Mirror Polished blade is full and very clean with very minor pitting and staining. Carbon Steel Blade is razor sharp. Overall very good to excellent condition. Very nice example!

Hard to put a price on these as they don't come around too often..(A truly outstanding piece to be proud of and fitting for the finest collection. Includes a custom zippered pouch.
