Early Production piece (1987) production. This high quality fixed blade skinner is one of the most recognized skinners made, and one of the most sought after of all Puma Knives. Puma Knives date back to 1769 and are among the finest made in the world.

Handmade in Solingen, Germany the early production modes are held in the highest esteem among collectors and those who use them in the field.  All early Puma models have a serial number (this one is#21781 which can be dated to the first quarter of 1987. They also have been Rockwell tested for hardness (on the backside of the blade).

Features a 6" hand forged blade made of premium Solingen Stainless. Blade is etched with the Puma name and logo  & Model #, along with "HANDMADE WHITE HUNTER STAINLESS".  Measures 10 1/2" Overall. Blade is razor sharp and features super sharp serrations toward the guard. Polished aluminum finger guard. 

 Features Genuine Stag Handles with a built in Lanyard hole. Superb fit and finish. Heavy Duty Full Tang Construction. Date code located on the Guard "21781"= Made in the first quarter of 1987.  "Old World" craftsmanship at it's finest. Superb example has never been used, carried or sharpened. ...
