Rare Vintage 60-70's era KISSING CRANE /ROBT KLAAS    Lockback Release Stiletto (20cm/7 3/4" Open) "Humpback" w/Stag Handles

One of the rarest of the Italian Styled Models, this "Humpback Release" features Nice Stag Handes accented with Nickel Silver Bolsters (without finger guards), with brass liners. Blade is marked "ROSTFREI" with the Kissing Crane logo (two cranes kissing), with "PATENT" on the backside of the tang.. Mirror Polished Flat Ground Blade measures 3 1/4". Measures 7 3/4" overall open= (20cm).  

Superb example of the "humpback" Italian which operates via coil spring rather than the typical leaf spring operation that nearly all Italians operate. This design was almost exclusive to the Kissing Crane/Klaas company in Germany, although they are of Maniago, Italy manufacture. They were distributed/sold during the 60's and into the early 70's and are extremely rare to find today in any condition.

Measures 4 3/8" closed.
