60's era ITALIAN 11" "BUTTON LOCK"= "Button Open/Button Close" "INOX" Marked Switchblade with Extra Select Stag Handles

Very Rare Vintage (60's era) 10 5/8" Overall open Italian Made "Button Open/Button Close"   Classic features push button open and close operation with Extra Select Stag Handles. 

4 3/4" Flat ground blade with a 1 3/4" "Swedge" grind on the top edge. Traditional Sliding Safety. Brass Liners. Brass Lined Nickel Silver Bolsters. Extended Tang design.Slightly thicker than current production models with a 4mm backspring.

Not a picklock or swivel bolster design, the Blade opens automatically and closes manually by pressing on the button. Not many "button locks" were made as the picklock design was a more accepted/popular mechanism. The more knowledgeable collectors know how rare this model is. Tang is marked "INOX" on the frontside.  Superb Quality from Italy. Overall length open is 10 5/8. Excellent action with Rock-Solid Lockup. Measures 5 7/8" closed.
