Vintage American Imperial Knife Co "Hammer Brand" (Arm & Hammer) Red/Copper Swirl "Jack" Switchblade

 Features Red/Copper Swirl Celluloid Wrapped Metal Handles.. 1950's era piece with a 2 3/4" Carbon Steel Blade. Beautiful Multi Red/Copper Swirl Celluloid with steel Liners and Steel Bolsters. Measures 3 1/2" Closed. Sliding safety works if you push in on the blade when you lock it. Otherwise safety does not work. Overall condition = fair. Blade seats deep in the handle when closed. Action is excellent.

Blade lockup has substanial up/down and side/side movement in the open position. Carbon Steel Blade has staining and pitting on both sides. Tang is marked "HAMMER BRAND U.S.A." with a arm and bicep on the front side and with patent #'s on the backside.

Handles are excellent on both sides with exceptionally nice color with no fading or discoloration... .This is a great addition to the oldies collection because of the handles. Includes a custom zippered pouch. Overall condition = fair.
