(Early Production 1976) Puma Solingen RUDEMANN Model 11-3584 Fixed Blade Hunter with Wood Display /Storage Box

Early Production piece (Made in the last half of 1976). This high quality fixed blade hunting/survival knife dates back to the fourth quarter of 1976. Heavy Duty full tang construction, the design is somewhat similar to the "White Hunter" on steroids. Puma Knives date back to 1769 and were at one time were among the finest made "production" knives in the world.

Handmade in Solingen, Germany the early production models are held in the highest esteem among collectors and those who use them in the field.  Early Puma models have a serial number (usually located on the guard) which can be dated.(This one is serialized 97674 ). They also have been Rockwell tested for hardness (this one has the Rockwell test mark located to the left side of the blade etch).

Features a 6 5/8" hand forged blade made of premium Solingen Stainless. Blade is etched with the Puma name and logo and model number.  Measures 11 1/2" Overall. Nickel Silver finger guard and butt cap.. Weighs 16.3 oz.

 Features Genuine Stag Handles. Superb fit and finish. Heavy Duty Full Tang Construction.  "Old World" craftsmanship at it's finest. Superb example has never been used, carried or sharpened. No Sheath.  Includes original factoy dove tailed wood display/storage box. Custom XXL Zippered pouch from AIK also included RARE FIND! This is a hard model to find. Nearly 50 years old!  Mint piece!
