(Early Production 1986) Puma Solingen "TRAIL GUIDE" Fixed Blade Skinner Model 11-6382

Early Production piece (1986) 2nd Quarter production. This high quality German made fixed blade skinner is not as common as other models and is somewhat similar to Puma's Hunter's Pal but slightly larger and the steel used is carbon rather than stainless.. Puma Knives date back to 1769 and are among the finest made in the world.

Handmade in Solingen, Germany the early production models are held in the highest esteem among collectors and those who use them in the field.  All early Puma models have a serial number which can be dated. This one is # "42682" and is located on the tang rather than the guard. They also have been Rockwell tested for hardness (on the backside of the blade).

Features a 4 7/8" forged blade made of premium Solingen High Carbon Steel with serrations at the base. Blade is etched with the Puma name and logo along with "11-6382 HANDMADE TRAIL GUIDE GERMANY HIGH CARBON STEEL"  Measures 9" Overall. 

 Features Genuine Stag Handles with a built in Lanyard hole. Aluminum finger guard with brass pins. Heavy Duty Full Tang Construction. Superb fit and finish.  "Old World" craftsmanship at it's finest. . Includes a a high quality leather belt sheath. Mint Piece. One of the finest examples of a Early Puma Hunter's Pal you will find! Includes the original yellow/green factory box. Never used, carried, or sharpened. Box is mint also. Factory Fresh Old Stock.
