Just received this exquisite piece of art with 2 day express shipping.

The package was taped up tighter than Fort Knox, lol. Inside the box, the knife was encased in a padded zipper case. A large fancy Protech cardboard box contained the custom lasered wood display box.

I'm more of a firearms guy rather than knives, but you can forget "Glock Perfection"... should be "Protech and AIK Perfection"!!!

I saw some Protech Custom engravings done on youtube, and the artisan uses a dental drill to make the defining cuts in the stainless steel... I myself am a dentist, and I can more than appreciate the craftsmanship required to produce such beautiful work. I am absolutely amazed with the attention to detail and perfection of this knife. My other Protech Godfather knife has an aluminum handle, but this custom piece is stainless steel... and there's something about the weight of stainless steel that just feels supremely right!

There is so much going on with this knife with the Damasteel Damascus blade, the floral engraving, the 24K gold button holding a genuine ruby... while waiting for this knife, I googled some other Protech Ultimate Custom knives that had less detail/work/art than this knife and they cost more money!!! AIK over delivered on this knife at a more than fair price.

There aren't many other Ultimate Custom Protech knives left on their site... if you ever wanted an exquisite knife such as this, get one while you can. They are one of kind, and you may never see another in your lifetime.
