AIK /Alsdorf collaboration~ XQII ~ Xquisite II D/A ~® (Double Action) (Auto Operation or Manual Opening) Scale Release Auto with Sambar Stag

The XQ2 "Xquisite II" Double Action works Manually via the Dual Stainless Steel Thumb Studs or Automatically  via "Scale Release" . Sliding the handles to the side (right below the thumb stud), activates the automatic leaf spring operation. 

Totally discreet auto operation, no buttons or levers to fumble with gives the knife a "clean" look.. Rock Solid Locking Liner locks the blade up like a drum. Absolute lock up means this has the tightest lockup of any Double Action available; PLUS you have the perfect weight  and balance.

One of the few Double Action Liner Locks on the market. Designed by Mike Alsdorf (Winfield, MO) for AIK, the XQ2 features 410 Stainless Liners which are heat treated for strength and integrity..This special series features select Sambar Stag Handles. 

High Quality CPM-154 Handground (by Alsdorf) Stainless Blade, (RC 58-60), features a Hand Polished Finish with Dual Thumb Studs.  Overall length open is 7 1/8". Blade measures 3". Measures 4 1/8" closed. Weighs 5.0 oz

The Xquisite II is part of AIK's Custom Series of Limited Edition D/A Autos. These are Handmade/Hand Finished-Not a mass production model.m( Stag Handles by AIK).

 Features superb Auto Action via the leaf spring or silky smooth Manual Operation via the Bronze Phosphate Washers.  Stainless Fittings. No clip on the Stag models. Includes a nylon stealth style belt sheath and leather pocket slipcover.

The Heat Treated Locking Liner extends slightly at the tang so it is easy to close. Blade is marked "AIK" along with 1 of 25 and MADE IN USA on the front side of the blade, and CUSTOM MADE on the tang and CPM-154 on the backside.
