Rare Early (2001)  Microtech COMBAT TALON II Front Opener features the "Claw" Logo on the Handle with a 04/2001 production date.

3 1/2" Satin Finished Blade. Anodized Aluminum Frame with center release button and sliding safety. Measures 5" closed. One of the few Front Openers made with a Liner Lock which locks the blade in the open position. Simply press the button to open. To close, you lift up on the liner lock located on the side of the handles and pull back firmly on the recharging lever that extends from the bottom of the handle. (Operates similar to Microtech's HALO model except for the Liner Lock). Note that a "line" will form on the blade from the operating mechanism, but being a satin polished blade it is faint.    

One of the most desirable of all the early Microtech models. Extremely hard piece to find. Lock up is rock solid in the open position. Excellent Condition. Satin Finished Blade is mint. Light Handling marks on the backside of the handles, however it is very clean for a 2001 model. Includes original custom velcro pouch and early Microtech belt sheath. Features superb action and lockup. Rare Model for that missing spot in your Microtech collection.
