Custom Handmade Boot Knife with Mammoth Ivory & Mike Norris Damascus by Jim (J.T.) Downie (Canada)

Custom Maker Jim J.T. Downie (now deceased) was a custom maker (for over 40 years) from Canada that specialized in "using" knives (fillet, kitchen, miniatures, folders, skinners), we asked him to do his rendition of a "unique" dagger and this was made in 2018. (Jim passed in 2022)

Jim's Boot Dagger Design features one solid piece of Mike Norris Stainless Damascus with a  3 3/4" Double Edge blade (3 1/2" sharpened edge), with contrasting Ancient Mammoth Ivory Overlay Handles which are accented with Mosaic Pins.. Ultra thin design.

Quality heavy duty Leather sheath with a stud that allows the knife to be slid behind your belt or carried without attaching it to your belt.  Measures 8 7/8" overall. Ultra thin design allows for a superb feel and balance (weighs 4.7 oz).
