(Early Production) Hubertus-Solingen W. Germany (Manual Opening) Lockback Folder with Ivory Micarta

Early Production piece (1972-1984) production. Features early Ivory Micarta Handles (which is no longer manufactured), and was made by Westinghouse. This micarta ages similar to real ivory. This high quality lockback folder features a 2 7/8" blade made of premium Solingen Stainless. Blade is etched with the Hubertus name and logo and Hochleistungsstahl (High Performance Steel) Geschmiedet (Forged) Rostfrei (Stainless) "WEST GERMANY" Measures 4" closed. Overall open is 6 3/4". Locks up like a drum. Nickel Silver top bolster with Brass Liners. Superb fit and finish.

In addition to their "springers", Hubertus also makes fixed blade and folders, (most often they contract with other German companies to manufacture them such as Puma and/or Linder). This model was most likely made for Hubertus by Puma; (it is very similar toPuma's "4 Star" Lockback Model). "Old World" craftsmanship at it's finest. . Includes a custom zippered storage pouch.
