Note: All Items offered for sale are Factory New (unless otherwise stated in the description). We do purchase collections and offer consignment items, but they are MINT unless otherwise stated. Obviously, knives in our Vintage and Scratch & Dent Sections are used, but we try to accurately describe these as carefully as possible.

We are a family business that has been around since 1987, and the only one that features our own Custom Shop that creates one of a kind exclusives found only at AIK! Our Master Artist (Andrew Lee Adams) is recognized for his Engraving and File Work.

Some of our items that do not have a price are marked "THIS ITEM HAS BEEN SOLD" or "CUSTOM SHOP EXCLUSIVE" in the description ..This means they are not currently available and/or are for reference only for collectors..These Items may be special ordered, just call or email us, or check out the item online and we will contact you with the price and "build time".
Some Items are marked "This Item Can Be Special Ordered". You can also "special order" these items by "checking the item out" thru the site. Your account will not be charged the full amount until we ship. Please read the description for more information, or email us for any questions you may have.

Adams Intl Knifeworks offers only the finest knives and collectibles from around the world, so you can be assured of personal satisfaction; however, if you are unhappy for any reason, you may return the item to us (in the same condition as purchased), within 5 (Five) days for a prompt replacement, exchange, credit, or refund. (Shipping charges are not refundable).
IMPORTANT: All non-defective returns are subject to a 20% restock fee. Disassembly of any item will void both the manufacturer’s warranty and our guarantee. Almost all knife brands and custom/handmade knives we offer feature a limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer or maker. (The exception would be Italian Classics, Hubertus, and other foreign made models which do not have a warranty).
Warranty work on Handmade Knives is obviously handled through the maker; not AIK, this means you have to contact the maker for the repair.. In the case you must return an item, please email first for instructions and to obtain our return address. If the item is not defective you will be subject to a 20% restock fee. This is to eliminate "window shopping"= those who just want to handle the knife. Knives are unique items, and unlike other items sold online like jeans or shoes or whatever, you can decide whether you like it or not within a few minutes. We take multiple pictures of the item, (more than any other website), so you can make a confident decision on your purchase, If you are unsure or need additional pics, we will gladly accommodate your request.
We usually ship via USPS Priority Mail (US Postal Service). Add $10 Shipping to all Orders Regardless of Size. Includes shipments to Alaska, Hawaii. Please allow 7-10 days for delivery, however most items are delivered within 2-5 days (via Priority Mail). Signature Confirmation may be used so you usually must sign for your package. (The signature requirement, is required for insurance purposes). Please make sure your "ship to" address is USPS (US Postal Service) deliverable, so if you have a "PO Box" list this option. Also be sure sure to list your "Billing" address.
You can request that we ship via United Parcel Service (UPS) Ground. If you prefer UPS Ground shipping, the cost is $20 regardless of size. Your signature may be required for UPS shipments also.
Express Mail (Overnight) is available for $45 regardless of size. Express shipments may be made via USPS, UPS, or Fed Ex, (Our choice) .. Most are delivered the next day, (Excluding Sundays and Holidays), by Noon or 3pm depending on your location.
Some addresses, (especially rural locations), take two (2) days through USPS. ALSO Alaska & Hawaii usually require 2 -3 (two / three) business days for USPS Express delivery. For example: if you order on Monday, your package will arrive on Wednesday). This applies only to certain zip codes, not all; to be sure visit www.usps.com or email us for an exact delivery date.
Generally, if you place your order by 12 Noon, (Central Standard Time), via Express, you will get it the next day.....Puerto Rico and other US Territories are classified as International Shipments; so the shipping costs fall under international shipping and shipped via USPS...

All items pictured on our site are in stock and ready to ship; however on occasion we may not of had time to remove an item that is sold out or is no longer available. We will not ship to an address or individual different than the billing address of the credit/debit card. This is to prevent credit card fraud...We do this to protect you..You may be asked to provide a faxed copy of an I.D. or other information. We apologize for such inconvenience, however find it necessary to prevent fraud. If you have done business with us before you won't have any problems; if you have not, expect such delays and make sure your billing address is correct.

We inspect every item before shipping, and treat you like we would like to be treated. Our Custom Shop is the finest available, and we take pride in our work. Some of the finest collections have been built from our product line, and everyone who is someone knows our name.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Personal Checks (held until cleared), Money Orders or Western Union. We will accept AmEx over the phone.
We do not accept International Credit/Debit cards
We DO NOT accept PayPal = PayPal is Anti Gun and Anti Knife. If you use them you are supporting a company that is working to take away your Gun and Knife rights. Don't sacrifice convenience for a group that is actively working to destroy your 2nd Amendment rights.
Please make sure your billing address is correct when filling out our secure online order form; if it does not match your credit card we cannot and will not ship your item. Note that when mailing in a check or money order request our mailing address for order acceptance........Sorry, we do not accept COD orders.

.................AIK's LayAway is very simple and easy to use!
To place an item in layaway you first need to email us at email@example.com or call at 618-656-9868 to make sure the item can be placed in Layaway. Once you find out that your item is acceptable you can begin the checking out process.
"Check out" the item online with a credit or debit card just like a normal transaction on the website but be sure to write "Layaway" in the comment box. Your order status will then be change from “Processing” to "Layaway".
Your card will not be charged the full amount at the time of checkout. However a 30% deposit is required to hold the item.
There is also a one item limit in layaways as well, and you will not be able to place a new layaway until your old layaway is closed and paid in full.
AIK’s layaway system gives you 60 days to pay off your layaway; AIK does not require a non-refundable charge like other companies, nor do we have the attitude that you encounter from other companies. We actually appreciate your business and value you as a customer/collector.
However, if you do not pay off your layaway after 60 days you will be charge a $35 late fee and your item will be relisted to the site.
After the 30% deposit is made two equal payments for the remaining balance is due at the 30 day and 60 day mark. You can apply whatever dollar amount you wish at any time to pay off your item, however the minimum payment is due at the 30 day and 60 day regardless. If we do not hear from you then it will be automatically applied on those dates.
The deposit and other payments towards the layaway will be charged to your card throughout the 60 days and you will be notified with an email or call letting you know your card has now been charged, or we will send you a PayPal invoice if using this payment method.
If you have an item on layaway and the credit/debit card payment you make on the item s denied, then you have three days to apply the payment or the item will be relisted and it will be taken out of layaway.

AIK has been in the business since 1987. We are specialists in automatic knives, but would be happy to handle any type of knives for you, Manual or Auto, custom or factory, antique or current production, and can handle any sized collection. large or just one individual piece.
Contact us via phone or email with information about the knives that you want to sell. We handle all the pictures and write-ups, and will work out pricing with you once we receive your knives.
Once a knife is sold, you will receive 75% of the final sale price of the knife. We have no other bogus or administrative fees and usually have your items listed on the site within the week they arrive.
