Custom AIK/HUBERTUS Extra Large (11cm / 7 3/4" Open) PEN BLADE RELEASE with Mammoth Molar Handles, Pearl End Caps, and Hand File Work

This unique "Pen Blade Release Springer" by Hubertus of Solingen, Germany is activated by pressing on the small 2" Pen Blade which automatically opens the 3 1/4" Main Blade by an Internal leaf spring. Hubertus made three different Pen Blade Release models, (this one which is an 11cm model, a smaller 10cm medium size model, and a large 11cm 3 blade version with a manual saw blade).

This model is considered the rarest. None of the Pen Blade models are currently made. The mirror polished spear point blade features the Hubertus etch. Clever opening design fools everyone as it has no levers or buttons and resembles a regular manual folder. Measures 4 3/8" closed.
