EDGEMASTER FISHTAIL Pattern Vintage American Switchblade 

The Edgemaster Brand was made in the USA between 1936-1956, and this model brings back memories of the good ole days when things were so much more simple. Now extremely hard to find, this model features unique Blue/Green Swirl Composition Handles.

Measures 4" closed. The 3 1/8" Mirror polished clip point blade is full. Blade is clean with minor stainging.  Tang is marked EDGEMASTER USA on the front side. No markings on the backside of the tang. Unique composition plastic swirl Handles are a unique swirl of light and dark blues with a splash of green.

Handles show some shrinkage where you can see the brass liners are exposed on the edges. Sliding safety works. Action is good. Blade has excellent lockup when it locks up. (Blade does not lock up on every snap); when it does lock up it is nearly rock solid.

Blade "seats" below the liners.  Overall a Very good example of a vintage American classic.  Includes a custom zippered pouch. If you don't own an Edgemaster, this would make a nice example.
