Vintage Schrade Walden (Large 3 3/4" Closed) Double Button Switchblade with Butter & Molasses Celluloid Handles

Largest Double Button Switchblade from Schrade Walden (New York). Features celluloid handles that is referred to as "Butter & Molasses" which is among the most sought after of the celluloid handles..  Double button design that Schrade is famous for.

Measures 3 3/4" closed. Main Clip Point Blade measures 2 5/8".  Small Pen Blade measures 1 3/4". Blades seat below the brass liners. Both blades have nice lockup with minimal blade movement when open.. Safeties work on both blades. 

Both Blades features excellent switchblade action with the smaller having bounce back. Both Blades have noticeable heavy scratches and a patina on both sides. Main Blade has been ground on both sides, (maybe in an effort to sharpen it).  Handles are in decent condition on both sides. Overall Condition is "Good". . Includes a custom zippered storage pouch. Overall length open (with both blades open) is 8 1/8".

Tang is marked  "SCHRADE WALDEN" on main blade. Tang of pen Blade is marked "US PATS DEC. 21, 09-SEPT. 13, 10- June 6, 16" Nice piece for your collection, but with condition issues on the blades. Priced accordingly.
