Vintage Schrade Walden N.Y. USA "Paratrooper" Switchblade 

Vintage piece from the 1940's this piece features Black Imitation Jig Bone Handles with steel liners and a polished steel top bolsters. Handles are in excellent condition with no rivet cracks and have slight shrinkage mostly below the bolsters. Spring Action is superb with minor up and down blade movement.  Safety works fine. Blade seats deep in the handle. 

Measures 4 7/8" closed. Overall open is 8 3/4". 3 3/4" Carbon Steel Blade shows slight staining on front and backside but has been polished clean. Overall very good condition. Front side of the Tang is marked "SCHRADE WALDEN NY USA". (Backside of the tang is blank.). This model is difficult to find in any condition! Includes a custom zippered storage pouch.
