Due Buoi - (Two Oxen) Limited Edition/Serialized Italian Stiletto    with Forged Stainless Bolsters, Abalone Shell Handles and Custom Safety 

  DUE BUOI was founded in 1884 in Maniago by Pietro Rosa, the great-grandfather of the current owner, and specialize mainly in agriculture tools and kitchen cutlery.
 

DUE BUOI started making Italian Switchblades relatively recently, (early 2000's). They made switchblades for only a brief period of time (approx 10 years), and were quite expensive when released, especially when compared with Beltrame or Campolin at the time. No longer produced, they have become very collectible and are quite difficult to find now. 

They are best known for their forged stainless bolsters and integral liners. (The only other Italian Styled switchblade that features this is of course AIK's VINDICATOR. This model has a rectangular push button (like the French Made models), and matching traditional sliding safety located below the push button. (It blends so well with the Abalone that the safety is hard to see!)  Measures 5" closed. This model weighs in at 6.3 oz, which is nearly double of what a standard Beltrame weighs. Blade is perfectly centered when closed.

 3 7/8" Flat Ground Blade is special etched and serialized. Overall length is 8 7/8".  Extra Beautiful Abalone Shell Handles. Limited Edition Piece from 2006. This is serialized #4 of only 15 made and the only 1 with a Traditional sliding safety.  Push Button open and close.
