What an incredibly beautiful work of art. It is impossible to picture the knife until you see it firsthand. I wish I could post my own photos to compare it to the typical 11 and 12 cm Laguiole knives. It is an impressive 18cm of blonde buffalo horn with gorgeous markings. Holding the open knife feels like a machete, with its massive 16 cm blade. I did not expect to love this knife as much as its heavier brother with brass bolsters, but on the contrary...it is an exceptional beauty and I am so happy I decided to make the purchase.
